L’Appartement 4F began in a tiny Brooklyn apartment during the pandemic, where founders Ashley and Gautier Coiffard began baking for their neighbors. What started as a homegrown project is now a beloved neighborhood boulangerie offering some of NYC’s most sought-after pastries. In the evenings, our space becomes L’Apéro—a cozy French wine bar serving natural and biodynamic wines alongside breads, cheeses, and classic French dishes. At our core, we’re a community-first business that values connection, hospitality, and bringing a little bit of France to NYC.

Barista Responsibilities:

•   Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.

•   Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and equipment.

•   Manage inventory of coffee supplies, ingredients, and merchandise.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Develop and implement new beverage recipes to improve quality and customer

  satisfaction.

•   Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery  of coffee and other beverages.

• Assist the Front of House team members in completing sales transactions when necessary
