Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, Non-Malignant Hematology, on the Full Time Clinical Faculty pathway with an approximate 80:20 contribution to clinical service and academic pursuits.
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with non-malignant hematologic disorders. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor level without tenure due to funding (WOT), commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW.
Fred Hutch and UW faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. This position will focus primarily on exceptional clinical care of patients with non-malignant hematologic disorders at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center. The non-malignant hematology group is committed to providing outstanding patient care, and members of the non-malignant hematology disease program will be expected to be a part of the clinical and research mission of the program. The position may also involve participation in the administrative, research, and instructional activities of the Clinical Research Division. Teaching responsibilities involve oversight of trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, and lectures. The position will be based at the South Lake Union main campus, but there is the possibility that the incumbent could see patients at one of Fred Hutch’s community clinics.
The primary, annual appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology.

The selected individual for the advertised position is expected to contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding clinical care and developing excellence in clinical research in hematology oncology, with a focus on non-malignant hematologic disorders. Clinical experience with classical hematology (especially disorders of coagulation and cellular hematology) will be prioritized; translational research experiences and interests will also be considered.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $315,000.00 to $335,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank, from $350,000.00 to $375,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Associate Professor rank, and from $385,000.00 to $400,00.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Professor rank. This position is incentive eligible. Pay for Faculty positions is based on a variety of factors, including degree, specialty, clinical practice and experience. This position is eligible for relocation assistance and/or sign-on bonus.
